Pinch and a punch, it’s BM! on Saturday. Usual place, usual time. OK then, at the Railway Institute, Queen St, York, from 10am till late. Your first day is FREE! Plus, we have a special super surprise for everyone attending. If you are big and strong and healthy and raring
for some heavy lifting to help the club out with a simple task, turn up early please.
We had our second Final Friday meet last week, at the Harlequin Coffee House near the Minster. Despite the miserable weather, we had a better turn-out with 16 in all, and several hadn’t been there before. It’s a nice venue for gamers, you really should come along. We played a bunch of stuff: Take It Easy a neat little tile game, one you can play on FB now; Sherlock Holmes Card Game a classic old card game; Stone Age; Railways Of The World: The Card Game; Airships a superb progressive dice-roller; 7 Wonders; Fearsome Floors an older game, players trying to sneak past the monster; Atlantic Star excellent game for several players, this is the re-issue of the old Showmanager, which is now out in a new edition; Pandemic played three times until finally they succeeded; Mosaix neat little filler, which Emily triumphed in; Sylla buying favours in ancient Rome; Manhattan one of my absolute favourites, and Paul sneaked in a clever win in the final round.
That’s yer lot, see you on Saturday!
