3 quick ways to a flatter tummy – what we did last week

A York mum’s amazing discovery has helped thousands of people. More on that later, but meanwhile, a quick run down on what we did.

Good news, we are back to getting fresh faces in the door. This had dropped off in the past weeks, but we saw 3 new people on both meetings. Please try and get people interested in the club, just to drop in and look. Remember, we’ve got a neat time lapse video on Youtube if somebody asks what we do.

Our 1st Wednesday meet was good, 15 people, but we do want to see more. You did ask for an evening meeting, now you need to turn out and promote it. It’s a good chance to bring in friends or colleagues for a couple of hours, especially after work. Remember, your first visit is free, we are genuinely friendly and inviting, and it’s a great place to get new ideas for your friends and families. Plus, you can bring your drinks up from the bar! If we can get regular numbers over 20, we could start a second evening session, on the 3rd Wednesday. As it is, that won’t happen with just 15 people.

7 Wonders, Modern Society, Airships, Zooloretto, Citadels, Dominion, Angkor, Condotierre, Egizia

1st Saturday was another record meeting though. 38 people is a new high for May, and if a few more regulars can stick with us, we’ll make 2011 another record year. Hot games on Saturday: Modern Society got another play, it’s a curious mix, quite challenging. Race For The Galaxy was run 4 times, popular with those that like engine-style games. Mr X was quickly caught by Scotland Yard (he almost slipped the net but blundered), and Jack was caught by Letters From Whitechapel, the latest of these hunter games. We didn’t finish until well after 9pm, with card games Weinhandler and Klunker for the stragglers.

Diamant, Techno Witches, Apache, Alles Tomate, The Great Fire Of London 1066, London, The Adventurers, Puerto Rico, Cash n Guns, Chateau Roquefort, 7 Wonders, Stone Age, Agricola, Le Havre, Manhattan, Bombay, Thurn & Taxis, Day & Night, Hacienda, Dominion, Imperial 2030, Flussfieber, Civilisation, Alhambra, Labyrinth – The War On terror 2011 – ?(snappy title), Tobago, Streetsoccer twice boyohboyohboywegottastartthestreetsoccerleagueagain, Capt Clever, The Hollywood Card Game, Dixit, Modern Art
