We’ve had word that a UK game designer fleeing the country may stop off at York on his travels. Apparently, missing BM! was the only regret he has and saying farewell to our club would ease the pain. Or something like that. Anyway, if you want to playtest some Martin Wallace games, get in early on Saturday. However, this is not yet confirmed, nor is the possibility of getting some games on sale delivered at the club, thus saving on postage. Bringing bundles of cash on Saturday may serve you well. Nothing promised though.

Meanwhile, we meet again all day Saturday at the Railway Institute on Queen Street in York, a bare stone’s throw from the railway station. We start at 10am and finish around 10pm. It’s remarkable that for months now we’ve been open and gaming up to 10pm, but people still think we close at 6pm. We never closed at 6pm, we just tended to wind down about sixish. But now it’s only a quid after 4pm, we get a boost of people in the afternoon staying through till late.
